Marking Devices
Low-Pressure
Spray Markers - The Dell spray marking unit can produce up to
180 marks per minute, providing a high degree of marking flexibility
at typical automation speeds with virtually no over-spray. Spot
size is adjustable to meet identification requirements. Units
may be mounted near automation and sensitive test equipment,
placed in marking stations on the production line, or attached
to other machinery.
The Micro-Mini - is the smallest lightest
weight, low-pressure
spray marker in the industry, and it’s
designed for positioning in a wide variety of locations where
space is severely limited. For example, a Micro-Mini can be mounted
to a robot arm for marking that is coordinated with the robot’s
measuring, probing, welding, assembly or part handling operation.
The Micro-Mini is capable of marking any attitude, and its low
mass operation provides fast repeatability for high speed requirements.
Micro-Spot Markers - accurately produces a
color spot on a workpiece up to 24” away from the unit’s
nozzle. A piston is used to hydraulically displace an adjustable
volume of ink, dispensing it through a flexible tube and a check
valve nozzle.
Touch Markers - are utilized when contact marking
is necessary. Attached to a double-acting air cylinder, the touch
marker’s valve-action tip produces a round color spot on
a clean, dry workpiece.
Disposable Six Packs - New! -
A series of disposable touch markers for manual or automatic
applications
is available. Two tip sizes are available: 1/4” and 5/8” diameter.
When attached to a double-acting air cylinder, Dell Touch Markers
valve-action tip
produces a
round color spot on a smooth dry work piece. Dell Touch Markers
are easily installed units ideally suited
for automated applications marking critical inspection areas
of manufactured or machined parts and assemblies.
Quick loading, long lasting, low cost disposable cartridges
cut downtime from handling of fluids within the plant in addition
to creating a safer workplace environment. They fit Dell spring-loaded
holders which attach to any size double-acting air cylinder.
Ink is gravity fed direct
from the reservoir. Each compression feeds just the right amount
to the unique spring loaded tip. Standard Dell marking ink colors
are: yellow, red, green and blue. Special orders are available
